The brother sent this to me in response to my persistent preaching of the use of Snopes. So I thought I would share it with you all.
So here is the backstory. Whenever someone sends me one of the “OMG THE WORLD IS GOING TO END AND WERE ALL GOING TO DIE because someone told your grandma that they were taking “In God We Trust” off of the new dollar coin. I will kindly look it up and tell them off in a response email. With a rant about how passing along Internet rumors is irresponsible.
Am I being harsh about it? Maybe, but I will say this… I don’t get many stupid forwards anymore.
